What a shame. I really hope that the interest for teddy bears in this part of the world will increase again. It is so sad that one show after an other has to shut down. I believe that this is partly due to the Internet, but the personal contact with collectors is very important I think.</div><div><br /></div><div>Well, I have lots of ideas in my head so I shall continue making the small bears.</div><div><br /></div>Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-88417389223974897092010-10-21T09:37:00.000-07:002010-10-21T10:58:47.536-07:00Who is who in bear making<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS0-hXzCcmfD_Y0XIGVhE5ePJQfh6_Awr5xzmjBgS85zKuZMkwTUUhQ4iP4kuLUB5oMKncQK6TtxKqY36hu1y5qoxtDDoZIEk8kHGu2MatRDyTQjjhYWUAY5dmIVNEFMPP534qnaJs_EA/s1600/StineBirkeland.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS0-hXzCcmfD_Y0XIGVhE5ePJQfh6_Awr5xzmjBgS85zKuZMkwTUUhQ4iP4kuLUB5oMKncQK6TtxKqY36hu1y5qoxtDDoZIEk8kHGu2MatRDyTQjjhYWUAY5dmIVNEFMPP534qnaJs_EA/s400/StineBirkeland.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5530559686064558834" /></a><br />On November 6th and 7th a online show is taking place through "Who is who in bear making". I made 5 beautiful bears for this show and lined them up on my table for photos. However, having left my room for a short moment my wonderful dog obviously felt that these bears would be nice to chew, so when I returned there were no bears on the table but bear bits all over the floor and an innocent looking dog. What do you say? ? Well - I knew that the fault was mine, but what did that help? I am sure that many other artists with pets have experienced something like this. I did, however, make 3 new bears before deadline and here is a sneak peek.<div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-3313596108919776472010-09-13T08:44:00.000-07:002010-09-13T08:46:31.452-07:00Louise 9 cm<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0qNqQAUPRLuVr2mB1X2KhJ_m5CKlMHnaxtiJiEMv__sCFVE-GGaYmzARIeq3WyzGdPmweOiuTAfwsvDlNREEu86MXR41HR8t0hD_F-CDwDnHgU0JRkiu9hMUbhqPrn9IKjQU2qmubHfo/s1600/1022-Louise-1.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 325px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5516424854698683506" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0qNqQAUPRLuVr2mB1X2KhJ_m5CKlMHnaxtiJiEMv__sCFVE-GGaYmzARIeq3WyzGdPmweOiuTAfwsvDlNREEu86MXR41HR8t0hD_F-CDwDnHgU0JRkiu9hMUbhqPrn9IKjQU2qmubHfo/s400/1022-Louise-1.jpg" /></a><br /><div></div>Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-60401875866815875672010-09-10T06:20:00.000-07:002010-09-10T06:38:10.356-07:00A little newsIt has been a long time, but I have been very busy. My 89 years old mother, who lives 400 kilometers away, has moved from a big house where she had lived for 50 years to a 3 room flat. It has been very hard for her. She loves the flat near her friends, but the mental moving is difficult when you have reached that age. Jorn and I have helped her moving for the past 2 weeks and are going home tomorrow. Hopefully, when we are gone she can find herself in the new sorroundings.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIMg3wp_HHSFaH1fo-Rm99oCzhKdq4viUqji1IneUotDGO7YaKDMomvpnjeHdrJ2XPqYFT32AI7bLt41ofd5HwrvMh2d-87LMM9EZY7buBWjCCgS_hhO8v5M9bOa5lQyx1Ph4UJntABRQ/s1600/bamser-i-glas-for-web.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 235px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5515275500732419522" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIMg3wp_HHSFaH1fo-Rm99oCzhKdq4viUqji1IneUotDGO7YaKDMomvpnjeHdrJ2XPqYFT32AI7bLt41ofd5HwrvMh2d-87LMM9EZY7buBWjCCgS_hhO8v5M9bOa5lQyx1Ph4UJntABRQ/s320/bamser-i-glas-for-web.jpg" /></a> I look forward to coming home and make some new bears. The little group above has been visiting a photographer. The new ones can soon be seen on my web-site.<br />Bella has been staying with my son and daughter in law and their 3 children for the last fortnight. My grandson has been sleeping on the floor with her as she is not allowed in the beds. I guess that it will be hard for her to come home to mom and dad where no one is sleeping on the floor with her :-)Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-76928683903761122692010-07-01T05:06:00.000-07:002010-07-01T05:34:36.701-07:00Lost in the flowers!<div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVc4xxVr_sRe5zrC05qVrul5cX69DaE3_b_pZHcDpCa-jcI880z6ICNzOC24GW0f-kAvFKHut7xzEw6M_vlrZdUl3K8ks48BNpw7D64Lx0WLMK_JeKQoiikTr5Gq83JXzepQL2zIjXjWg/s1600/1019-Terry-13.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488913352897106882" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVc4xxVr_sRe5zrC05qVrul5cX69DaE3_b_pZHcDpCa-jcI880z6ICNzOC24GW0f-kAvFKHut7xzEw6M_vlrZdUl3K8ks48BNpw7D64Lx0WLMK_JeKQoiikTr5Gq83JXzepQL2zIjXjWg/s400/1019-Terry-13.jpg" /></a> Little Terry couldn't find his way in the flowers. She is acting just like it says in the books that from 6 to 18 months the dog is a lout. The day after her 6 months birthsday she found it necessary to try to eat one of the buttons on our sofa. As the button just wouldn't give in she tried with her front paws/nails with the result thet the fabric was torn. I am sure she thought: "Hurray, now I am 6 months, now the fun begins!!"</div><div>Well, we love her anyway. Up to the last hour we were not sure whether I could make the trip. I had been down with the flu all week but I had to go to Hugglets. A few years ago we were trapped in the airport because of the weather and couldn't attend the Hugglets Winter BearFest. We had a friend put a sign on our table that we were not able to make it. <em>This could just not happen again</em>. As it turned out my health was not the best, but all right. Or at least so I thought until I saw the photos my husband took of me and the stand!!</div><div> </div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443700748465005826" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFcL793A8RMxXItEzmpIY8sKlkqVGi_HiuX39IQ0YjWDr5D1R6ZNNgQTBVYZlzEhxOGk4nbtWON7X6wiRLj7FA0ko7FeplXBzgG7NqQbrGd-28YvVphlgNAR6zXavfTQlIiroil3pA1kY/s320/Stand-No.-116.jpg" /></div><br /><p>So - here is a photo of my stand <em>without</em> me. I enjoyed talking to collectors and other visitors and quite a few of my little bears didn't go back to Denmark.</p><p> </p>Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-43600457681316484212010-02-17T08:19:00.000-08:002010-02-17T08:30:33.562-08:00One large bear, AlexI found a half finished bear that I had started before I injured my right hand. The bear had been lying for a long time in a bag. I decided to finish this bear and you can see the result here. The bear's name is "Alex" and she is 42 cm long standing. The body is filled with rubber pellets so she is soft and heavy.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi3688qpaiSS2UJzioEr43TPia3R3V-2jYf0o5i6Krjo0-c6xpqcvxIaIoKxO_ZhPlms-9X2W1A2yGy0rMy-TtCaI_26zb1XiMVGE7bbZg_UZAADQrodPi1pSQ2uUduMMs7bsJBXZAQYk/s1600-h/1010-Alex7.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5439248105012559810" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi3688qpaiSS2UJzioEr43TPia3R3V-2jYf0o5i6Krjo0-c6xpqcvxIaIoKxO_ZhPlms-9X2W1A2yGy0rMy-TtCaI_26zb1XiMVGE7bbZg_UZAADQrodPi1pSQ2uUduMMs7bsJBXZAQYk/s400/1010-Alex7.jpg" /></a> I have not decided whether to bring her to Hugglets in 12 days as she will not fit in among all the small teddy bears. However, she is quite cute.<br />I look very much forward to going to London again but I must say that I am happy that I shall bring miniature bears this time. It makes the flight easier.<br /><div></div>Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-40506049351172734652010-01-11T07:47:00.000-08:002010-01-11T08:23:33.722-08:00New puppy "Bella"<div>Our standard poodle of 3½ years got very ill a couple of months ago and sadly nothing the wet could do helped. Fie had to be put down last Friday. We were, however, prepared and we have now got a new puppy, Bella. Se is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and 8 weeks old. Luckily, we had forgotten how big a job it is to have a little puppy in the house and with 50 cm snow in the garden it is not possible to go out to play. With regard to a kitten we found out that my husband, Jorn, is allergic to cats, so a kitten is out of the question. </div><div> </div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 303px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425518004329177810" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpF1UBPoUumtEnukXiyJtuYCFvVTPOJo35FJpjZh8FP9giKH7tu5_KaEKgPrL0UihnXISvxj21a-SdAaz29ZKe2dMGI36xz1lR9Gw1Ki-rK5x8KtZRdKBjlvs9onfLjdVk7I401IaX-CQ/s400/Bella-8-weeks.jpg" /><br /><div>I try to make bears when Bella is sleeping. It takes a lot of my time. It is not easy when you want to do everything at one time.</div><div>Christmas is coming up and my youngest son will be back from Seattle where he has studied at the university for the past 4 months. As many times before I attended the show. This time, however, I only needed a small stall as my bears have become smaller. It is really nice when travelling with the bears.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtHj1FqgkHLdiJKFWTGewmn5LuaF1K0YMcUFZqI0hL5BEmNqlLtxVEaAJXCMod-kmAmZwhW9VDMMGlb-jZ06DfewjEb7dN-L8ZR-eNbJTzsQ8BHzGWCK6HRZlh_bZm_ipVFfsB1r_NU-M/s1600-h/940-Victor-1.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 254px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399233999992006098" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtHj1FqgkHLdiJKFWTGewmn5LuaF1K0YMcUFZqI0hL5BEmNqlLtxVEaAJXCMod-kmAmZwhW9VDMMGlb-jZ06DfewjEb7dN-L8ZR-eNbJTzsQ8BHzGWCK6HRZlh_bZm_ipVFfsB1r_NU-M/s320/940-Victor-1.jpg" /></a> Unfortunately for the show there were fewer exhibitors and fewer customers than earlier. But I guess that this is symptomatical for shows all over the world. I, however, had a very good sale as the serious teddy bear collectors always are present when the show opens and these are the people that are imporant to me.<br /><br /><div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj7VmbYWd61lFLOLGC-sLB5co3R5oJzSOlxtBWZ7EzOx3WuWb2xSAkMceJdh-wg7R6z6hY1p3IzvgqONPzKhh6a7-aJ9d55wANJTBjJLkvaH9W56958vePcEO3aYk8_R3gEUP50bqbq4M/s1600-h/937-Daniel-1.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 323px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399233017078787250" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj7VmbYWd61lFLOLGC-sLB5co3R5oJzSOlxtBWZ7EzOx3WuWb2xSAkMceJdh-wg7R6z6hY1p3IzvgqONPzKhh6a7-aJ9d55wANJTBjJLkvaH9W56958vePcEO3aYk8_R3gEUP50bqbq4M/s400/937-Daniel-1.jpg" /></a> After an hour most of my bears were sold so the rest of the day was relaxation.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-25374991946327999922009-10-09T06:02:00.000-07:002009-10-09T06:12:43.871-07:00Thoughts in OctoberIn the October/November issue of Teddy Bear Times there is an article about my "new world" in bear making, namely my miniature teddy bears.<br />I find that I have stretched myself over too much the last year making both reborn dolls and teddy bears. It has been too much. I find it difficult to say "no" and consequently I get too many commitments. I have now decided to cut down on my doll making and concentrate on the little bears. Also I plan to do some scrapbooking which is a very relaxing hobby.Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-56851821003396227692009-09-29T07:41:00.000-07:002009-09-29T07:51:23.922-07:00Flower wreaths in size 1:12<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd2sMw3p4FGV1WGQ0F6T2-9QeChknkALLYbnNSLI0YtU1vt4nARzNiHmUs_C82mS8d9GHN1D8M08ZZhh60H_q9OixktFMw5M-DBYwC60t0DmCchB4XUaZ1vwrJKyXq4YlHlp1vH38wlzA/s1600-h/934+933-Maude-Jannie.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386900093447868066" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd2sMw3p4FGV1WGQ0F6T2-9QeChknkALLYbnNSLI0YtU1vt4nARzNiHmUs_C82mS8d9GHN1D8M08ZZhh60H_q9OixktFMw5M-DBYwC60t0DmCchB4XUaZ1vwrJKyXq4YlHlp1vH38wlzA/s400/934+933-Maude-Jannie.jpg" /></a><br /><div>I have asked my good friend, the talented miniature flower artist, Lene Mathiasen to make a few flower wreaths for my bears. There were more than 17.000 visitors. It was, of course, not a teddy bear show but a show regarding all kinds of crafts.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgo83jSDQXuimGeZkKRqo5ZIkNSA6eu1ijz15elEEDnS-_leafbIud2q44lSo3SG6qFrVgfJljcRgnySVYGV0o8yRhSpf3Sg3NGFRVh5ZyGlL8SZY-afMh79zy6z3NB0Y6Y2aefU1HLWaE/s1600-h/930-Pieter3.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 299px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5379057161584495106" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgo83jSDQXuimGeZkKRqo5ZIkNSA6eu1ijz15elEEDnS-_leafbIud2q44lSo3SG6qFrVgfJljcRgnySVYGV0o8yRhSpf3Sg3NGFRVh5ZyGlL8SZY-afMh79zy6z3NB0Y6Y2aefU1HLWaE/s400/930-Pieter3.jpg" /></a> There were a few teddy bear collectors and it is very nice to meet people with the same interest as your own.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjc7ioDkIx1hyphenhyphenIwKnm-q_ANq2D3nXhgl_9_AQAE13rFupSds69BWNyz4HSUjTuR3k01pU-1m7Zfn0j7zakN7peT_KOjidPsZolC62xzhHFtBoWyt_Y_EdrcKVzE27pkYKk_e5SgyH7xKQI/s1600-h/928-Emely1.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5379056972170946354" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjc7ioDkIx1hyphenhyphenIwKnm-q_ANq2D3nXhgl_9_AQAE13rFupSds69BWNyz4HSUjTuR3k01pU-1m7Zfn0j7zakN7peT_KOjidPsZolC62xzhHFtBoWyt_Y_EdrcKVzE27pkYKk_e5SgyH7xKQI/s400/928-Emely1.jpg" /></a> My next show will be in Malmö, Sweden. She would be 12 weeks old on September 24th when I could pick her up. Just the other day the most beautiful kitten and its mother visited out garden. Of course, I didn't let our standard poodle out in the garden until I had seen the mother cat and the kitten had gone away. 5 minutes after I had let the dog out I looked out and saw the mother cat and my dog stearing each other in the eyes, just one meter apart. The the hunt began, but of course the dog couldn't catch the cat. That was when I saw a dead kitten lying on the lawn. My dog had just broken its neck.<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>Now I do not know what to do. I am not sure that I can trust my dog with a kitten in the house.<br />Mayby someone can tell me if they have had an experience like this. I still would like very much to have a cat - but do I dare?<br />For the sake of good order I should mention that the photo is not the kitten in question, but an other Russian Blue kitten.Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-86911904839728413662009-08-14T06:37:00.000-07:002009-08-14T06:54:47.830-07:00Preparing for showThere is a show coming up in less than 3 weeks. I am bringing both miniature teddy bears and reborn dolls. I am also going to make a pattern so that the customers can buy a kit and make their own miniature bear - if they feel like it.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiVnM9cPux5ewtOwZ_bcWtyIvsh0t5vXi8Dmm6VS-YhxEFt_forkoxFxRXYuITLoWn_vBRt1DyzTL9KklggqnVDxnLBlvH3pgKN3Esm_XsOFEQ-4G85uB9wGWhyphenhyphen0iZv5l-IwuGs3qcFQ4/s1600-h/926-Candy-4.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 313px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369814076528931138" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiVnM9cPux5ewtOwZ_bcWtyIvsh0t5vXi8Dmm6VS-YhxEFt_forkoxFxRXYuITLoWn_vBRt1DyzTL9KklggqnVDxnLBlvH3pgKN3Esm_XsOFEQ-4G85uB9wGWhyphenhyphen0iZv5l-IwuGs3qcFQ4/s400/926-Candy-4.jpg" /></a> Luckily, both my husband and his sister have agreed to help me at the show. I know from experience that there will be lots of people around the reborn dolls asking questions, etc. It is essential that there is a person to concentrate on the bears as well. The customers for bears and dolls are not the same.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6wNY-_9aEQ7_cy0ehuCQKKthPc2UNm4Eogy5TJ6FDZ-2E8oR0U7mqUNqThA7wjZfto4cTs5i3jjEFe87JaeIkyl7BRoSRB5Re4LtQrZJhGW9oNrQE8cupaYU13POeWWMcEznZ5Roeb4E/s1600-h/918-Willy-6.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 277px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369813749730023538" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6wNY-_9aEQ7_cy0ehuCQKKthPc2UNm4Eogy5TJ6FDZ-2E8oR0U7mqUNqThA7wjZfto4cTs5i3jjEFe87JaeIkyl7BRoSRB5Re4LtQrZJhGW9oNrQE8cupaYU13POeWWMcEznZ5Roeb4E/s400/918-Willy-6.jpg" /></a> I am showing three little bears here. My next show abroad will be Hugglets in February 2010.<br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417168100357905524.post-6550328503294605812009-07-22T08:30:00.000-07:002009-07-22T08:43:14.622-07:00Little Pink PandaIt is time between guests and I have just made a little pink beauty. The weather is not too good so I have started planning my next show in September. I love making plans for shows, there are always lots of things to do. The coming show is a 3-day show. It is about all kinds of needlework and other kinds of hobby for both men and women. There are a couple of hundred exhibitors and they are mainly people who are interested in needlework. Consequently, I shall make some teddy bear kits so that there is something for the creative customer. I shall be showing my miniature teddy bears as well as reborn dolls.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieXKt0-ueDAv0d33p-8Pa5WyRBe5Tk4eLkiVSy7qFZ83NNCMJ1x8dySCw0QdqOw4r2R1YnUOY5tr9sUf9ovAT7TCjjcJiz4DwEyazrKC_HvrC3DjiQVw8aIjpVBIVaFUFGEh7FH8Lcg2Y/s1600-h/Pink-panda-m.-pink-blomst.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 291px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361307443013644034" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieXKt0-ueDAv0d33p-8Pa5WyRBe5Tk4eLkiVSy7qFZ83NNCMJ1x8dySCw0QdqOw4r2R1YnUOY5tr9sUf9ovAT7TCjjcJiz4DwEyazrKC_HvrC3DjiQVw8aIjpVBIVaFUFGEh7FH8Lcg2Y/s400/Pink-panda-m.-pink-blomst.jpg" /></a> This little girl is 7,5 cm tall and disc and string jointed. We had rented a house boat which was placed in a big lake in Germany. It was very nice. Our son and his girlfriend came to visit us for a couple of days. I had planned to make a few miniature bears, however, to my own surprise I managed to make 6. I got totally carried away and had a needle in my hand most of the time. Of course, we also did some sightseeing, but sitting on the terrace of the house boat listening to the water and looking at ducks and geese was very nice.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356484644351046866" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwfFi_fgeLbW_vo9sJXLrfBm4lYdLpf1GBH9DvCcit1fqXGy1GvR_6m_1tbHvQ_dn4K97AuD5Qe-I13Sja38ziaCxdg4Gj3HyqQMHYVUaI2ZbBPDxED4DYb9mGp6fKu4Kkhyphenhyphen7YphQvo3I/s400/920-Berry_1.jpg" /></div>Stine Birkelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09734878935908454450noreply@blogger.com0
